Tome

Well, well, well... So you'd like to know how the ‘Pragma Prediction’ works do you?

Wonderful! We can never have too much wonderment in the world! It's now time for you to learn how it was done so that you can pass the wonderment on to someone else, then teach them how it was done so that they can pass it along, and so on and so forth...

But please for karma's sake, don't use any of the tricks we teach you to convince others that you have psychic ability! Do enlighten others, but don't blind them! And as for any prestidigitators out there pooh-poohing our revealing of how tricks are done, we are parapragmatists not magicians, and as such, we are not bound by the ‘magician’s code’.

Though we may borrow a trick or two from mentalism, hypnotism, or sideshows, our main purpose is to enlighten, not entertain - although that is usually a nice byproduct! We believe that sharing how illusions work arms the masses with basic critical thinking skills, and ultimately pushes the art of magic forward resulting in more elaborate and clever conjurations. Knowing how a trick is done does not ruin the art, nor does it remove any of the wonder, it just makes you appreciate the skill of the performer all the more. Click here to watch Penn and Teller perform their transparent cups and balls routine to prove our point.

If you have no idea what is going on here, and this page makes no sense to you, congratulations! You stumbled upon one of the secret pages in our website! So essentially what's happening is that we have a superneat trick we do with our business card, and when people ask us how we did it, they get sent here to learn how it is done. Click the Reveal link to learn the mechanics behind it, and click the Patter links for examples of delivery.
