Mythical
Matters loves Toronto Wildlife Centre! A percentage
of every sale will be donated to TWC for their lifesaving conservation,
education, and rehabilitation efforts!
Over
36,500 sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals have been admitted
for treatment since TWC was first established in 1993; we can't
imagine the fate that would have befallen these creatures without
the lifesaving efforts and expertise of this important organization.

Toronto
Wildlife Centre has developed many programs to accomplish its mission:
The
Wildlife Hotline handles common inquiries about wildlife, and provides
crucial information on how to resolve emergency situations in the
most humane and ecologically appropriate manner;
The
Wildlife Rescue staff will go to great lengths to get injured wildlife
out of dangerous situations and into rehabilitating care - whether
it means climbing trees, crawling out onto ice, or digging deep
into the ground;
The
Wildlife Rehabilitation division handles raising wild orphans and
identifying and addressing medical problems;
The
Oil Spill Response Team helps to mitigate the impact of industrial
accidents that occur on a weekly basis;
TWC’s
conservation work also includes ongoing research and education,
since monitoring and enhancing the well-being of wildlife populations
are critical steps to ensuring a healthy ecosystem.
