Did you know that unicorns are, in fact, real? Okay, so technically they're a member of the rhinoceros family, but they've got a horn on their forehead, not their nose, so it still counts! (If you hadn't noticed the internet exploding about this last week, just search for Siberian unicorn). So we've made a new greeting card featuring a Siberian unicorn being all inspirational! (You've seen that meme "Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn.", right?) ;)
Also known as the blue-furred "Bull of Winter", and known to be "…of a gentle nature, he does not crush the worms or break the plants…" this unicorn is referenced in all kinds of folklore. Could it be that the legend of the virgin being the only one able to approach a unicorn might have come from an instance long ago where a little girl or boy approached one of these creatures and made friends? Perhaps everyone was so shocked that this kind creature didn't attack that it went down in history!
